Youth Theatre - 210133

BEAUTY AND THE BEAST
Each year, our Theatre program provides a performance opportunity for school-aged youth who have an interest in dramatic arts. The production provides students with creative and engaging theatrical experiences, as well as the opportunity to participate in live performances. Your young person must be the appropriate age by the first day of the program in order to participate.

This year, we are pleased to offer a HUGE musical theatre program for all school-aged youth! We are very excited to announce our production of Beauty and the Beast, which will perform in McCain Auditorium on the K-State Campus. Because we will be working with such diverse age ranges, program dates and times will vary depending on your student’s age.

PRODUCTION INFORMATION:
Grades K-12 (must have completed Kindergarten during the 2016-17 school year to participate)

Step into the enchanted world of Broadway's modern classic, Disney's Beauty and the Beast. This “tale as old as time” tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed into his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.

Fee: $65
