Youth Bowling Clinic - 110103

Youth Bowling Clinic is designed to teach the fundamentals of bowling for kids in grades K-12.
The clinic is taught by two USBC certified coaches and students on the high school bowling team.
The program will be held on Tuesday evenings for seven weeks.
Dates: January 8th - February 19th

Group Ice Skating Lessons

Youth Lessons are $35/person

Got Ice? We Do!!! Join us for our sixth season in the Jon and Ruth Ann Wefald Pavilion and GTM Family Center!

DAILY ADMISSION: $3 per person / $3 skate rental

$25 Key FOB good for 10 admissions and/or skate rental (purchased at Parks and Recreation Office).

Plan-A-Party: The ice rink can be reserved for private group use during off-hours. Call MPRD at 785-587-2757 for details. Visit our website www.mhkprd.com for a registration form.

Refund Policy: Registrants will receive a full refund if we cancel the program or we may be able to transfer you to another class. A full refund is granted if request to withdraw is received one week (seven days) prior to start date; partial refund when requested between one week and at least 48 hours prior to start date and no refund if request is less than 48 hours in advance or failing to show. Participant withdrawals must be received during business hours.

Pickleball is un-officiated, players will make their own calls
Entry fee includes two MPRD Pickleball t-shirts
All equipment and league rules are provided
Location: City Auditorium (1101 Poyntz Ave)
Match Times: Between 6pm - 10pm every 30 minutes, but are subject to change based on registration numbers
Each team will play two matches each night

Pickleball Tournament Information:
Doubles Only (Men, Women any combination)
Pool Play (4 games)
Single Elimination Following (1 game)
Price includes T-Shirt, Friday night practice session (night before), Awards for top four teams.

Little Apple Glow Paddle - 300157

Register today for our 3rd Annual Little Apple Glow Paddle on Saturday, October 20th.

Bring your own kayak or canoe or rent one (first-come, first served, spots limited)

*If you are wanting to register a 3 person personal kayak or canoe, please call the MPRD office at 785-587-2754*

Life jackets are required. All Rented vessels will have lifejacket & paddle included.

Park your vehicle at the Linear Trail Head (Hwy 24) and buses will transport you to Fairmont Park at 6 p.m.

We'll depart from Fairmont Park boat ramp at 6:30 p.m. and paddle back on the Kansas River/Blue River to Linear Trail Head (Approx 2 miles) by 8 p.m.

Round out the evening enjoying s'mores by the campfire!

Note: Little Apple Paddle was voted in 2016 by Kansas Recreation and Parks Association as the “Outstanding New or Innovative Recreation Program/Special Event of the Year”
